The new addition to the series is the Xiaomi 14 Civi. A teaser released by Xiaomi on Monday reveals that the 14 Civi will launch in India on June 12. This follows an earlier teaser that hinted at a Civi phone launch in India with the tagline “Cinematic Vision.”
This launch marks the first time a Civi-series phone will be available in the Indian market. In China, the Civi series has been popular since its debut in 2021.
Xiaomi 14 Civi: India Price
The Xiaomi 14 Civi is expected to be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro for the Indian market. Based on the Civi 4 Pro’s price in China, which is CNY 2,999, the 14 Civi is likely to be priced around Rs 35,000 in India. However, with additional duties and taxes, reports suggest the price could go up to Rs 50,000. This would make the Xiaomi 14 Civi the most affordable option in the 14 series in India, compared to the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
Xiaomi 14 Civi: Specifications and Features
Given that the Xiaomi 14 Civi is expected to be a rebranded Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, we can anticipate several key specifications and features. The smartphone will likely feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It is expected to have an impressive 3,000 nits peak brightness, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The Xiaomi 14 Civi is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, with 12GB of LPPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
As part of Xiaomi’s flagship series in India, the device is likely to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Leica Summilux lens, similar to the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra. The rear camera setup is anticipated to include a 12-megapixel Omnivision OV13B10 ultra-wide sensor and a 50-megapixel 2X telephoto camera. For selfies, a 32-megapixel front camera is expected.
